Mowing & Baling
This is where it all started for Campbell Contracting going back three generation starting off with small square balers and sickle bar mowers for the late Douglas Campbell followed by Bryan (Scratch) buying one of the first round balers and mower conditioners in the district. Currently to date we are running six mower conditioners and four balers.
With the understanding of making quality silage keeping up with our prompt service which has been the success to our business growth over the years is the reason why we are passionate about our mowing, bailing and silage. This is a big part of our business.
We run six Claas Mower Conditioners. One set of triple mowers, one set of double mowers and one 3m trailing conditioners. These options give us the ability to handle large amounts of work and suit us for all Taranaki conditions.

New this season is the latest McHale Fusion 3 Plus. We have run McHale Fusions for eight years.
The McHale Fusion 3 Plus integrated baler wrapper consists of an 18 roller fixed chamber baler and an integrated vertical wrapping ring.The McHale Fusion 3 Plus integrated baler wrapper uses Film on Film technology to apply film to the barrel of the bale in the bale chamber. The McHale Fusion 3 Plus is a fully automatic machine which is controlled by the McHale iTouch Control Unit and also has an inbuilt camera to monitor wrapper operation
We also run two BR New Holland belt balers for silage. Followed by a trailing McHale wrapper.
